Tim Harrison, 2006 Educator of the Year winner, and author of Wildlife Warrior will be the celebrity guest at the Fur Ball and is donating copies of his book to our Table Sponsors. Tim stars in the upcoming film directed by Michael Webber called The Elephant in the Living Room. The film is about the controversial world of exotic animal ownership within the suburbs of the United States. "The Elephant in the Living Room" offers an unprecedented glimpse into the fascinating subculture of trading and raising the most deadly and exotic animals in the world as common household pets.

LOCATION

The A La Carte Event Pavilion is located at 4050 Dana Shores Dr. Tampa, FL. It is easily accessible from the Veteran’s Highway (State Road 589), exit 3 -Memorial Highway. The 4^th street light on Memorial Highway is Dana Shores Drive. Make a left onto Dana Shores Drive and the Pavilion will be on your right hand side.

Attire

We call the unique Fur Ball attire “Safari Costume Formal”. You can come in traditional formal attire, come in safari, cat print or jungle orientation costume, or any mix in between, such as part formal with cat print accessorizing. Be creative and have fun with it! Use your imagination - get wild! Costume contest prize is a week in a mountain timeshare!
