The Jinja Jewelry Project is a non-profit organization in Uganda, Africa with volunteers in the USA and Africa. Each piece of our Jewelry is hand crafted with love and hope!

We are honored to bring you some of the most amazing jewelry. The Jinja Jewelry is all made from recycled materials found in Uganda. These beautiful items are made from recycled paper, cow horn, banana fibers, local stones, seeds, and wood.

The people of Jinja, Uganda in Africa live in extreme poverty and hardship.  Through the organization’s assistance, the people have begun to find a way to transition from adversity by making beautiful items.  We are so proud to be able to assist them by providing a market to sell the jewelry and giving them hope. The proceeds are returned to the Ugandan families for food, education, housing, and medical care.

In addition, by buying Jinja Jewelry, you are providing an alternative income to residents of Uganda, Africa, instead of “animal trade” profits.

 We are able to offer the necklace in 2 sizes, as well as earrings.  The short necklace is roughly 18 inches, the long necklace is roughly 40 inches.
